As Covid-19 struck, we realized a spike in outdoor activities! While this is a positive aspect, unfortunately trash has become more abundant. So on top of picking up trash, we also provided some alternative actions if you felt the need to go above and beyond!
LET'S KEEP NATURE BEAUTIFUL
Leave No Trash Behind
Although this may seem repetitive and simple, it really is important that we make sure to pick up any loose trash lying about on trails, beaches, etc. This could save the surrounding wild life from any form of danger while also maintaining the beauty of the location.
Take Pics for the Gram
The idea may seem silly, but the thought process behind it is that if people see the beauty of nature, they will be more inclined to pick up trash or to not litter in the first place. A good picture does have the potential of attracting more foot traffic, but we hope they come with good intentions.
Simply Volunteer
Certain locations hold volunteer trash pick ups. Commonly held at beaches, it's something you can do if you're bored. Picking up trash itself does not sound like a good time, but if you have nothing else to-do, it is a great way to get out and meet people and help out a good cause.
